Stila In The Light Palette Review

I'm Your National Anthem.

Hey everyone! I hope you're all feeling good today, i'm still buried under my Uni work but obviously a little procrastination is allowed in the form of a review of the 'In the Light' palette by Stila.

I've had this palette for a while as you can probably tell, it is a bit battered from signs of good use and i have actually hit pan on one of the eyeshadows, if this isn't the sign of a used palette i don't know what it is!

This palette comes with ten eyeshadows and a smudge stick waterproof eyeliner and is £25.00. I love it when palettes come with extra goodies aside from the shadows!

As i said i am sure you can tell where i have hit the pan here, i have to say this is probably my favourite eyeshadow of the palette:

Here are the swatches from L-R working across the palette:

And seperately with a closer look in two rows of five L-R:

As you can see shade 'bare' was quite hard to photograph as it is a very light nude shade but i hope you can see it. Within this palette my most used shades are bare, kitten and champagne. My least used shades (in fact i haven't used them at all) are sunset, sandstone, night sky and ebony. However, i am now going to use them after seeing how great they look! I can be a bit of a one trick pony with my eyeshadow choices and i really need to snap out of it.

These shadows are lovely and apply well, however beware of fall out upon application as this can really ruin your eyeshadow look when the eyeshadow falls onto your face instead of the eye. Eyeshadow brushes pick up this product really really well so you don't have to press the brush into the palette hard at all, less is more in this case.

I do recommend this palette and i do use it regularly, however make sure you make the most of it as i will be doing from now on. The inclusion of a waterproof eyeliner is also really beneficial in terms of the cost of this palette, as the eyeliners alone are normally £13.00, and they do stay on all day :)

Thankyou for reading, i hope you liked my review!

XOXO
